Map library

Maps can be used to communicate complex geographical information to the public, and/or to gather spatial feedback from the public. Maps are created on a project level and are stored in the 'Map Library'.

View your project maps

Project maps are stored in a 'Map Library' on a project level. To view your existing project maps:

  1. While logged in, use the top-level menu to navigate to the Projects tab.

  2. Select the relevant project; this opens your project overview page.

  3. In the left-hand menu, under Content, click Map library.

  4. This shows all the maps available for this project.

Adding layers to your project map

Internal users can add pins or shapes to maps created in the Map Library to share detailed geographical information. Click here for more info on map layers.

How to use a project map

Maps created in the Map Library can be used in the project in the following ways:

As a content block on a project page to share geographical information to the public.

As the basemap of a map survey, to gather geographical feedback from participants.
