What is a project?

Updated 1 year ago

A project is a self-contained set of content and participation activities you can build using District Engage to support a community consultation. A project allows you to engage with your community, communicate important and relevant information, and gather rich data insights.

Each project includes the following features:

Landing page

A basic webpage with information about your consultation activities and links to related content.

Content

A wide range of unique content tools created with public consultations in mind. Use an intuitive interface to create complex content types such as events, timelines, layered maps and downloadable documents quickly and easily. Cross-reference content across your pages by creating them once, then sharing them elsewhere with content blocks.

Participation tools

A set of tools specifically designed to facilitate and increase community engagement via surveys, ideas walls, polls and discussions.

Associated teams and campaigns

Associate one or more teams of people or campaigns to a project to help with searchability and also control roles and permissions for content creation and configuration activities.

Data and reporting

Get dynamic, granular, real-time data and reporting insights on just about every aspect of your project with personalised and configurable dashboards and exportable reports.
