Manage a project

   Find project content

To find content for an existing project:

1. Navigate to the **Dashboard**.
2. In the top-level menu bar, click **Projects**. This will show you a list of all the projects you have access to.
3. Click a project. This will take you to the project page, where you can see reports, preview the published page, edit content, view revisions, see members and followers, or delete the project.

*Note: you might not have access to certain actions, such as deleting a project. If this seems incorrect, check with your Civio Engage administrator.*

Edit and delete project content
-------------------------------

To edit and delete content for an existing project:

1. Navigate to the **Dashboard**.
2. In the top-level menu bar, click **Projects**. This will show you a list of all the projects you have access to.
3. Scroll to the relevant project. On the right-hand side, click the **ellipsis menu icon**.
4. Click **Edit** to be taken directly to the project's editing tab.
5. You can also navigate to the project overview page, then the editing tab. From the **Projects** page, click a project to be taken to the project overview. From here you can preview, edit, see revisions, see members and followers, or delete the project.
6. Scroll to a content block and hover your cursor over the name. If you have edit access, you'll see a **pencil icon**. Click to open editing mode for that content block.
7. When you're finished editing, click **Done**.
8. If you want to delete the content block, click **Remove**.

*Note: you might not have access to certain actions, such as deleting a project. If this seems incorrect, check with your Civio Engage administrator.*

Add new project content
-----------------------

Once you've created a new project for your consultation, you need to populate it with content and participation tools for your community members to engage with. The broad workflow looks like this:

1. Create a new project
2. Create individual content blocks
3. Create individual participation tools
4. Add them to the project
5. Review
6. Publish

Preview a project
-----------------

To preview a project from the editing environment:

1. While logged in, use the top-level menu to navigate to the **Projects** tab.
2. Click on the project you'd like to preview from the available list.
3. Show a quick preview of your project content by clicking the **Preview** tab in your project overview.
4. To see what your project page will look like on the public-facing website, click the **Frontend preview** button in the top right.
