Understanding the user interface

Your District Engage user interface is designed to be as intuitive and user-friendly as possible. Find the main areas of District Engage in the top-level menu, your personal profile information in the user menu, and project-related activities in the left-hand menu.

Note: You need to have special permissions to access the configuration interface and edit content. If you’re not sure about your permissions, please speak to your District Engage administrator.

ProfileView your personal profile details, change your password, control notifications and more
My ActivitySee your recent activity in District Engage in reverse chronological order
RSVPsManage your RSVPs to events
My TeamsView a list of all teams you are currently part of

Menu itemDescription
DashboardYour main dashboard, with personalised reporting and more actions
ProjectsThe projects overview screen. Find projects you have access to, and create new projects
PeopleSee all your people, including participants, internal users, and teams
ReviewModerate comments, review the pending work queue and publishing schedule

Left-hand menu

The left-hand menu shows available actions for the screen you are currently on. Different screens have different left-hand menus. This example is for the project actions menu.

OverviewSee your project overview, or preview and edit your project
ContentSee all the available content tools for your project. Click a content tool to see more details
ParticipationSee all the available participation tools for your project. Click a participation tool to see more details
